Most people took the scooter up the Doi Suthep Mountain to visit the temple at top and for the view of the city, since I don't ride motobike, I decided to hike up.
- I took a Songthaew (red bus) from the city to Wat Pha Lat following a friend's suggestion as it's half way and there was little time left before sundown (cost 75baht for me)
- However I didn't find a hiking track there, ONLY the road for cars
- It then took me a good 2 hours of walking up to get to the Temple, I did try to top the Songthaews I saw but they couldn't stop as it's too dangerous
- The walk was not pleasant because the exhaust from the cars on the road
After some digging, apparently there is a trekking path starting from Wat Pha Lat, if someone knows what it looks like, please share as I didn't find any "entrance" apart from the car road
