Getting from Hangzhou airport to city

  • We don't have subway from the airport to the city at the moment. Work is underway and its schedule opening is 2021
  • The 2 options to get in from the airport are taxi and shuttle buses
  1. Taxi: taxis boarding area is outside of gate 4 (int'l) or gate 10 (domestic). Fare to the city is around ¥110-¥140 RMB, or $16-$20 USD. The journey takes 40-50 minutes
  2. Shuttle buses: much cheaper than taxi and you can find them outside of gate 14 at the domestic arrival area. There are over 50 shuttle buses from the airport but only 2 of them transport you to the city center of Hangzhou.
  • Bus 1: Wulinmen Line (武林门专线)
  • Runs everyday between 7:30am and the last flight of the day. Every 15 minutes before 10pm and every 30 minutes after 10pm
  • Fare: ¥20 RMB per passenger, equivalent to about $3 USD
  • Duration: 55 minutes
  • Stops:
  • First stop: Grand Metropark Hotel, 维景国际大酒店
  • Second and final stop: Wulinmen Civil Aviation Ticket Office, 武林门民航售票处
  • Returning buses from the city to the airport runs between 5am and 9pm, every 15 minutes until 5pm and every 30 minutes after 5pm
  • Bus 2: Pinghai Road Line (平海路专线)
  • This one can get you to the Hangzhou Railway Station (the main train station)
  • Runs everyday between 7:30am and the last flight of the day. Every 15 minutes before 10pm and every 30 minutes after 10pm
  • Fare: ¥20 RMB per passenger, equivalent to about $3 USD
  • Duration: 70 minutes
  • Stops:
  • First stop: Railway Station Bus Terminal, 城站火车站汽车客运站. Note that buses leaving from the airport after 8:30pm will skip this stop
  • Second stop: Grand Metropark Hotel, 维景国际大酒店
  • Final stop: Pinghai Road Bus Station, 平海路岳王路口公交车站
  • Returning buses from the city to the airport runs between 4:45am and 8:45pm, every 30 minutes
