Bach Ma National Park

Bach Ma National Park stands at 1450 meters above sea level, including waterfalls, hiking trails, and French villas that are dilapidated. Situated in the Annamite Range, this lush landscape is a retreat for travelers and tourists from the towns as there are buses stopping at the Cau Hai Village for 60,000 VND for those traveling from VND 80,000 or Hue from Da Nang.

Bach Ma National Park is a home to thousands of rare wildlife and plants, visitors may enjoy a complete day (or two) of hiking, camping, rappelling, swimming and even abseiling over Do Quyen waterfall (Rhododendron waterfall).

Ho Quyen, Tiger Fighting Arena

The tiger fighting arena was built in 1832 under the Minh Mang emperor of the Nguyen dynasty. This was the fighting place between tigers and elephants to train the elephants to become a sharp weapon.

The fantastic news is that the battles have not been kept since the early 1900s but amazingly there are nonetheless some claw marks left on the walls. The Tiger arena Hue is about three kilometers from the city center.

Hon Chen Temple

Hon Chen Temple was built to worship Po Nagar, the Goddess of the ancient Cham people in Ngoc Ho Village. Set atop a tiny hill in Ngoc Ho Village, this unique shrine underwent numerous restorations under the reigns of Dong Khanh and Minh Mang Emperor between 1832 and 1886.

Hon Chen Temple Festival is held in the middle of the third and seventh lunar month each year when visitors can enjoy rituals, folk dance and music performances by local devotees in costumes.

Hue Festival

Hue Festival is a celebration that takes place at Hue City. Here you can enjoy performances, games, and an array of cultural events. Launched in 2000, the festival is held to preserve the traditional customs which have been practiced since the Nguyen Dynasty.

Hue Imperial City

Huyen Tran Princess Temple

Huyen Tran Princess Temple Hue is a cultural complex including orchid gardens, Emperor Tran Nhan Tong's monastery, and a library containing documents of former kings and significant figures of the Tran Dynasty.

Minh Mang Tomb

Minh Mang Tomb, hailed as the most ambitious tomb is situated along the west bank of Perfume River. The entire structure of this tomb that was expansive began under the arrangement of Minh Mang Emperor in 1840 until it had been finished during the reign of Thieu Tri Emperor.

Perfume River

Perfume River spans approximately 80 kilometers in length, flowing through Hue City Centre and Bang Lang Fork out of Truong Son Mountain. After blossoms from upriver orchards are transported through its stream resulting in a strong scent locally called Huong River, it had been named. Like most of the iconic attractions of Hue.

Hue Royal Tombs

Hue has been recognized as being rich in history. There are many tombs in the countryside of Hue. Significant tombs comprise Minh Mang, Tu Duc, Khai Dinh and Gia Long. Visitors interested in its own history should take a little bit of time to respect the emperors' tombs and the majority of them are located in large and stunning grounds.

Thanh Toan Bridge

Thanh Toan is a tile-roofed bridge built about 200 years back over the Nhu Y River. It isn't large, about 17 metres long and four metres wide and is made from wood. An altar is within the bridge set up for Ms. Tran Thi Dao who financed its construction. This bridge is about 10 kilometers east of Hue city center.

Thien Mu Pagoda

Thien Mu Pagoda is the most famous and sacred pagoda in Hue. It features a golden Buddha statue along with a giant turtle carrying a marble stele, and a great bell cast in 1710 as well.

This pagoda is also famed for being the home monastery of the Buddhist monk Thich Quang Duc who, in 1963, traveled to Saigon and burned himself to death in an intersection in front of the government building of the South to protest against the authority of Ngo Dinh Diem, asking for the freedom of people to follow Buddhism.

Tu Duc Tomb

Tu Duc Tomb is one of the Nguyen Dynasty royal tombs set within Hue Imperial City's outskirts. Constructed between 1864 and 1867 the complex served as a summer palace because of the riverfront landscape and its normal hillside for the Tu Duc emperor.
