Best photography locations on Kenya's coast

  • Don't we all just love taking photographs.
  • You already know that if there is no photo then there is no proof that you were actually there.
  • The Kenyan coast has a wide range of locations for the most photographic of us.

The beach and Islands.

  • Those pearl white sandy beaches are just gorgeous as a backdrop to your images.
  • A photo of you with your pets at the shore or in the ocean is good.
  • A good excuse to get wet also...
  • Apart from the beaches, there are a few islands that you could find both habited such as Lamu island, pate island.
  • In the south coast at Msambweni, there are a couple of islands that form an archipellago.
  • This area is also common for movies and music video shoots.

Forests and Wildlife.

  • It is quite rare to find the beach and also wildlife in close proximity.
  • Kenya gives you just that to satisfy your desires.
  • There is the famous Arabuko-Sokoke forest in Kilifi county that has mostly elephants.
  • There is a road through the forest and at night you can see the elephants move.
  • However such times can also pose insecurity to yourself. This is why you should always go with a group.
  • In Kwale which is found in the south coast, there are also forests that have elephants and so many birds for your lenses.
  • Chimpanzees and monkeys are also found in plenty in their natural habitat and that award-winning photo is just a click away.
