How to use the luggage storage service at Santiago International Airport

  • There's a 24 hour left luggage service at the Santiago International Airport
  • It's located on level one (the ground level), which is the same level as baggage claim. To get to it, you need to turn left after you exit from baggage claim and customs. Keep walking until you see an office against the wall labeled Custodia de Equipaje/Baggage Storage, nearby exit door 1:User submitted photo of Santiago Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport (SCL)
  • Storage prices:
  • There has been a recent price increase at the storage in 2020. These are the latest prices, which vary by luggage size:
  • Small: CLP $4,000 (~USD$5.2) per day
  • Medium: CLP $5,000 (~USD$6.5) per day
  • Large: CLP $6,000 (~USD$7.8) per day
  • Special items like bike, wheelchair, surfboard, ski etc.: CLP $10,000 (USD$13) per day
  • Random little things like keys, scissors, etc.: CLP $3,000 (USD$3.9) per day
  • You can pay by cash or credit card. Accepted credit cards are visa, master card, american express, and diners club. There are no discounts for multi-day storage
  • You will need your passport to use their services. The rest is straightforward, you just show up with the baggage you want to store and tell them how many days you want to keep your stuff there
